A Psychology graduate with a PGDip in Guidance and counselling, Helen has over 25 years experience in mental health and development. Having worked with many varied groups of people over the years Helen came to coaching seeing the remarkable life affirming and lasting results that the coaching process achieved.
Having received her accredited diploma in Life and Business Coaching in 2006 she has added more training to her resume over the years and is now an advanced practitioner in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique; also known as tapping) a practitioner in Matrix reimprinting and holds a Professional Qualification in Mindfulness. She brings a wealth of experience to each coaching intervention.
As a founder member of the Association for Coaching (AC) in Ireland, Helen sat on the original Ireland AC council with responsibility for Coaching Accreditation and its promotion as a way forward in excellence and coaching standards. She continues to maintain her coach accreditation status. She also ran the North West AC co-coaching forum encouraging development in coaching practice.
Helen is passionate about good mental health and how this impacts on wellbeing and effectiveness. She is a founder member and current Board member of Aware, the leading Depression charity in Northern Ireland.
All coaching programmes delivered by Helen are designed to instil a deeper sense of self, greater self responsibility and sense of individual empowerment, allowing for increased confidence and effectiveness.
